Thierry Mugler’s first perfume was presented in 1992 under the brand name Angel. It was a new trend with its combination of praline and chocolate-derived sweetness mixed with a strong accent of patchouli. Angel was the first oriental gourmand perfume and was the first women’s fragrance branded in blue.
The bottle was a complicated shape of a faceted star and was created by special product designers with young attitude. Currently, there are more than thirteen versions of this famouse and successful perfume that have been successively created for the usage of many market niches. More Thierry Mugler perfumes have been developed to divesify the brand's fragrance offerring, including three main fragrances: the gentle A*Men, the widely used Mugler Cologne and the Alien.
Durring the year 2005, Alien was developed, it was the second leading Thierry Mugler fragrance, derived by a solar world, filled with optimism, serenity and shine glamouring. Further more in 2005, Thierry Mugler launched the "Thierry Mugler Perfume Workshops" which are open to the public and led by specialists of the perfumery world. The goal of these workshops is to present and clarify the art and know-how of the industry along with the process of making perfume.
